Join me in Mount Dora, Florida, on February 10, 2025, for two three-hour sessions for lower-intermediate, intermediate, and upper-intermediate mountain dulcimer players. (As always, brave beginners are welcome, but this is not a beginner class.) Yes, this is the Monday immediately after the Central Florida Dulcimer Festival.

Schedule

• 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.: We’ll focus on improving your strumming, flat-picking, and finger-picking skills using exercises, folk songs, jam tunes, and old-time hymns. The morning is all about getting you in shape.

• 12:00 p.m.: I’ll head to a nearby restaurant for lunch, and I hope everyone will join me.

• 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.: We’ll work on repertoire, including some of my favorite arrangements. This time is for applying what you learned earlier in the day and having fun, ensuring you’ll have some new tunes for the upcoming year.

Cost
The price for the full day is $85, which covers both the morning and afternoon sessions. My preference is that you pay online through this website. However, if you’d rather pay when you arrive, I’ll be happy to accept credit card, check, or cash at the door. Just shoot me an email and let me know.
