August 24
September 21

December 14 IS CANCELLED. I hoped we could meet this day, but there’s just too much going on. I will be releasing the 2025 Murfreesboro Jam dates very soon.

In case you missed it, mom moved into an assisted living community in Murfreesboro, and since this jam is all about being close to her, I re-named the jam “Murfreesboro Dulcimer and Old-Time Jam.”

This all-levels jam runs from 2-:00 to 3:30 and is open to the public. It is mainly a mountain dulcimer jam, but all acoustic instruments are welcome. The repertoire is typically old-time tunes and songs, but from time to time, we might play anything. Roughly the first 30 minutes is slower and easier stuff. The next 30 minutes is more intermediate. We save upper level playing for the last 30 minutes.

Might not be a bad idea to bring your own chair.

Here's the most important thing. You don't need to know these tunes in order to participate, you just need to show up with an instrument. Non-jammers are also welcome.
