#1 - Flatpicked Versions of Dulcimer Jam Favorites
MD Level 4 (Upper Intermediate)
Friday Session 1

I’ll bring a bunch of examples, but I’ll also show you how to make your own. Some will be simple; some will be fancy. Being able to think melodies across the strings is essential.

Embark on a melodious mountain dulcimer journey through Florida, North Carolina, and Ohio. We'll weave through 'Florida Blues,' 'Swannanoa Waltz,' and 'Ohio Waltz,' as well as three other arrangements. Tune your dulcimer to DAD, bring a capo, and join this tuneful trek through timeless traditions.

#3 - All the Ways I Play Wildwood Flower

Wildwood Flower is one of my favorite playgrounds. I’ll show you at least 5 ways I do it. Plenty of tab for this one. Take these lessons to other tunes.

#4 - Learn to Play the Way Grandpa Learned
MD Level 2 (Novice)
Saturday Session 1

There’s nothing wrong with reading music as you play, but do yourself a favor and walk with me through some of the older ways people still use to learn tunes WITHOUT written music. (You’ll still get tablature for everything we do.)

#6 - Dulcimer Chord College
MD Level 3 (Intermediate)
Saturday Session 4

Knowing the three main chord shapes all over the dulcimer doesn’t have to be hard and doesn’t have to take forever. I’ll show you the system to get it all down for backup, chord-melody, arranging, and more.
